Sobre a obra:
Integra a série “Pressão”, que representa os bastidores da arte de rua, focando os sujeitos principais que fazem o Graffiti e o Pixo acontecer (e também aqueles que tentam impedir que aconteça).
As obras dessa série, mostram cenas do “Vandal” (como os grafiteiros gostam de referir à produção da arte de rua sem autorização), como é realmente a ação de pintar e ser descoberto, e quem são os personagens que se interconectam nesse exato momento da a ação de pintar na rua.
Portanto, as cenas representam uma sensação em comum: a pressão. Seja a pressão de desaprovação da sociedade, da abordagem policial, da infração da lei, ou seja, tudo o que interconecta diretamente no instrumento cheio de pressão que faz a arte “vandal” acontecer: o spray. Este instrumento aparece em todas as obras, seja a peça inteiramente, parcialmente pintada com tinta spray, sua representação na imagem, ou a própria lata de spray que é o suporte que carrega a arte.
Sobre o artista “KUÊIO”:
Kuêio nasceu em São Paulo e já na infância admirava os graffitis dos muros da cidade. Iniciou seus trabalhos pelas letras, em 1999 seus primeiros traços na parede. 2001 marcou o lançamento do personagem “kuêio”. Atualmente ele faz pinturas em tela, mural e desenhos de arte contemporânea para coleções particulares e exposição. Ele é grafiteiro e oficineiro de graffiti em projetos sócio/culturais.

About the work:
It is part of the series “Pressure”, which represents the backstage of street art, focusing on the main subjects that make Graffiti and Pixo happen (as well as those who try to prevent it from happening).
The works in this series show scenes from “Vandal” (as graffiti artists like to refer to the production of unauthorized street art), what is really the action of painting and being discovered, and who are the characters that interconnect right now? gives the action of painting on the street.
Therefore, the scenes represent a common sensation: the pressure. Be it the pressure of disapproval from society, the police approach, the violation of the law, that is, everything that interconnects directly in the pressure-filled instrument that makes “vandal” art happen: the spray. This instrument appears in all works, whether the piece entirely, partially painted with spray paint, its representation in the image, or the spray can itself that is the support that carries the art.
About the artist “KUÊIO”:
Kuêio was born in São Paulo and in his childhood he admired the graffiti on the city walls. He started his work by letters, in 1999 his first strokes on the wall. 2001 marked the launch of the character “kuêio”. He currently makes paintings on canvas, murals and contemporary art drawings for private collections and exhibitions. He is a graffiti artist and graffiti artist in social / cultural projects.
