Sobre a obra:

Essa obra representa a busca incessante dos seres humanos na evolução das máquinas e inteligência artificial, esquecendo sempre que nosso maior poder é a natureza e tudo que ela criou para podermos sobreviver neste planeta.

Sobre o artista:

Guilherme Matsumoto, mais conhecido como xGuix,  é neto de imigrantes japoneses, o que influenciou bastante na sua forma de agir, pensar e  criar.

Cresceu na Vila Monumento, o bairro Cambuci o influenciou com os graffitis que lá tinham. Teve influências de hq e graffiti, portanto usa tudo isso junto com as suas experiências  para criar  obras.

Começou a pintar na cidade em 2007 e criou sua identidade artística com personagens marcantes. Algumas das referências não fazem parte do mundo real e para o artista, essa é a maior dádiva da criação, não há limites.

Mesmo em busca pela perfeição estética, seu trabalho é desenvolvido de forma experimental, quase visceral, onde a intuição e experimentação são as bases das criações.

Por ter tido contato com diversas realidades, surge uma necessidade cada vez maior de se expressar e interagir com a cidade e seus espectadores, seja para alegrar ou para abrir questionamentos nas pessoas que absorvem essas artes.

About the work:

This work represents the ceaseless pursuit of humans in the evolution of machines and artificial intelligence, always forgetting that our greatest power is nature and all that it has created so that we can survive on this planet.

About the artist:

Guilherme Matsumoto, better known as xGuix, is the grandson of Japanese immigrants, which greatly influenced his way of acting, thinking and creating.

Growing up in Vila Monumento, the Cambuci neighborhood influenced him with the graffiti they had there. He had influences from comics and graffiti, so he uses all of these together with his experiences to create works.

He began painting in the city in 2007 and created his artistic identity with striking characters. Some of the references are not part of the real world and for the artist, this is the greatest gift of creation, there are no limits.

Even in pursuit of aesthetic perfection, his work is developed experimentally, almost viscerally, where intuition and experimentation are the foundations of creations.

Having had contact with various realities, there is a growing need to express and interact with the city and its spectators, either to cheer or to open questions in the people who absorb these arts.
