Alto Contraste, or A * C, is an urban art project that has existed since 2005. Until mid-2017, it was a duo with Lygia Lee and is currently played by Lou Dedubiani. The universe of A * C almost always revolves around characters loaded with some strangeness and a certain social mismatch, often referring to some archetypes of psychology and investigating the human being in what is picturesque and paradoxically universal. This is also how the Yellow Bear – his most well-known character – which refers to human beings in all their ambiguity: at the same time that it reminds us of the cuteness, of the Teddy Bear, we know that in essence he is still one of the animals wildest and most aggressive in the world.
